FAQ

What is Gripthane made of?

Gripthane is 3D printed thermoplastic polyurethane, or TPU. A firm but flexible material that enhances shock absortion. It has excellent resistance to abrasion, temperatures and stress, making it a perfect material for Onewheel grip.

How long does it last?

TPU is extremely durable. It holds its shape over time, rebounds from pressure, resists wear, and can take hits without degrading. You won’t need to replace it unless you want a new design.

Will this fit my board?

Each grip is designed to fit specific footpad shapes. Check the product listing for available footpads. Additional footpads will be added shortly. If you’re unsure, shoot us a message — we’ll help confirm the right fit.

Is it water-resistant?

Yes. TPU is naturally resistant to water, and oil. And the industrial-strength adhesive keeps it secured — even in gnarly conditions.

How grippy is it?

Very. Our designs balance traction and comfort, so your foot stays planted during deep carves and chonky trails. For technical maneuvers, jamming the nose and the tail never felt so good. But don’t worry you can still reposition when needed.

What’s included in my order?

Each listing includes one (1) Gripthane – either front or rear.

To fully outfit your board, you’ll need to order two (one for each end).

How do I clean it?

Just wipe it down with a damp cloth. For heavy dirt, scrub with a damp brush and pat dry.

Can I customize my grip?

Yes. Contact us if you want something specific — we love weird ideas.
